The Box Loom is done!

From Box Loom

I spent a couple hours warping up and weaving a 40" long cord on it, using 13 of 33 possible warp threads.

I wasn't sure if I wanted to implement comments for The Project Archive, but I ran out of other things to do, so I went ahead and whipped some up yesterday. Comments can be toggled on or off for each project, and each user can set which will be the default when they create a new project. Commenters can edit or delete their own comments, and project owners can delete any comment. Email notification of comments on your projects and replies to your comments can each be selected.

The Project Archive now has an (empty) RSS Feed!

I've been working on a new project the past couple of weeks. I originally made the Renaissance Dance Database because I was tired of having to look in a million different places for dance resources. I thought it might be useful to have a similar sort of database for keeping track of people's projects, so I made The Project Archive to serve that purpose. It's intended as a categorized and searchable index for all the dress diaries, blogs, galleries, and other resources that are scattered all over the internet.

I originally intended it as an SCA-centric thing, but I know that a lot of you like to play in other time periods, so I added support for other centuries and "fictional" projects. You can filter your view to just show the time periods and project categories you're interested in.

If any of you think this might be a useful tool for you, feel free to make an account and give it a try. The code is still brand new, so please be gentle and let me know if anything breaks.
